For the law, I had no respect. After it incarcerated me for over two decades, it became my companion. I developed an interest, a passion, and a love for the very law that incarcerated me. I became a student of the law and now I am a certified paralegal. I am in school to receive my certification as a substance abuse counselor.

I give back to the community as a recovery coach for MCOI and the Bethel Social Justice Institute. Two organizations that have helped shape my thought process. Professionally, I'm a Medical Case Manager for a local Health Center.
